Development: in progress

Current work covers hardware discovery, storage planning, Guided and Advanced operations, and release packaging.

Current work

What works today.

  • Hardware discovery tracks stable identity, filesystems, pools, controllers, enclosures, and health data the host provides.
  • Guided operations explain the next step; Advanced operations expose more control for experienced operators.
  • Plans stay tied to the storage state they were created from.
  • Operations keep progress, restart, failure, and recovery state visible.

Hardware coverage

Support is still expanding.

Tests and fixtures do not cover every controller, enclosure, filesystem, pool, or disk combination.

Unknown stays unknown.

Hoardarr leaves missing hardware values blank instead of guessing.

Participation

Report a reproducible issue.

Check existing GitHub issues, then include the smallest useful example without credentials, serials, private hostnames, network addresses, or production data.

For a potential vulnerability, use the security reporting steps.
